Health Advantage Cares Foundation Awards Over $9,000 in Scholarships to Michigan Nurses

Saginaw, MI - The Health Advantage Cares Foundation awarded more than $9,000 in Continuing Education Nurse Scholarships to eleven nurses during 2025, supporting professional development opportunities across a range of healthcare settings in Michigan.
The scholarships help offset the cost of coursework, certifications, conferences, and other educational opportunities that strengthen clinical knowledge and support continued growth within the nursing profession.
The following nurses were awarded scholarships:
- Kaitlyn Bonham, Licensed Practical Nurse, CareOne Staffing Agency – $500.00
- Lindsey Brewer, Registered Nurse, Covenant HealthCare – $1,000.00
- Hayleigh Brown, Registered Nurse, Covenant HealthCare – $1,000.00
- Amber Eddy, Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse, MyMichigan Health – $500.00
- Tiffany Hatfield, Registered Nurse, Hasty’s HomeCare – $1,042.50
- Jenna Hine, Registered Nurse, Covenant HealthCare – $625.00
- Archia Jackson, Emergency Room Registered Nurse, MyMichigan Health – $500.00
- Sabrina Kuhl, Surgical Intensive Care Registered Nurse, Covenant HealthCare – $625.00
- Bailey O’Keefe, Registered Nurse – Critical Care, MyMichigan Medical Center – $500.00
- April Sommers, Independent RN Contractor, Sommers Roots LLC – $500.00
- Lucas Summers, Flight Nurse Paramedic, MyMichigan Health – $2,495.00
