Debit Card Conversion FAQs
Health Advantage FCU is changing our debit card processor to provide our members with the latest technology, to better protect you and serve your needs. This change requires that a new card be issued to all cardholders so that each individual cardholder is protected from service interruptions.
No. For security reason, we do not mail a PIN to our members. You may select your unique PIN by calling the number on the activation sticker and choosing the appropriate option.
Please note that the envelope containing your new HAFCU Visa debit card may not have any Health Advantage identifying branding. It’s therefore especially important that you open all mail to ensure your card is received and secure.
To ensure there is no interruption with recurring or preauthorized payments (such as monthly utility bills, insurance payments, club dues, etc.) contact the merchant on or before October 15, 2026 with your new card number and expiration date. Feel free to contact us for any help needed with this step.
You will be able to see all transactions made using either your previous debit card, or your new debit card, within your account history in online banking.
Yes, the new number will be 1-833-400-3156.
No. Please activate and begin to use your new debit card as soon as you receive it. Your existing card will not work after October 6, 2026. The instructions that will accompany your new card provide step by step guidance to ensure it is ready to use on or after that date.
