New Health Advantage Debit and Credit Cards Are Coming!
We're excited to announce that Health Advantage Credit Union is upgrading our debit and credit card programs to provide members with an improved card experience, tap-to-pay technology, and newly designed cards. These updates are part of our continued effort to improve the way you pay, manage your cards, and use digital banking.
Important Card Conversion Information
Over the coming weeks, you'll receive important communications regarding updates to your Health Advantage Visa debit and credit cards. This page will serve as your central source for news, timelines, FAQs, and important action items.
New Debit Cards
In September, we’ll mail you a new contactless Visa debit card with tap-to-pay technology. We’re committed to keeping you informed throughout the upcoming card transition. There’s nothing you need to do at this time. Watch for your new Visa debit card and additional details in the coming weeks.
Important dates to keep in mind as we upgrade:
- September 19th – October 2nd: Your new Visa debit card will arrive in the mail.
- Activate your new Visa debit card and begin using it immediately.
- Destroy your old debit card and safely dispose of it.
- October 17th - 18th (Conversion Weekend): We will be transitioning to a new Visa card processing platform. During the conversion weekend, your Visa debit card may experience temporary transaction limitations.
New Credit Card
In September, we’ll mail you a new contactless Visa credit card with tap-to-pay technology. We’re committed to keeping you informed throughout the upcoming card transition. There’s nothing you need to do at this time. Watch for your new Visa credit card and additional details in the coming weeks.
Important dates to keep in mind as we upgrade:
- September 19th – October 2nd: Your new Visa credit card will arrive in the mail.
- Activate your new Visa credit card and store it in a safe place until October 19, 2026.
- Continue using your current VISA credit card as normal until October 16, 2026.
- October 17th - 18th (Conversion Weekend): We will be transitioning to a new Visa card processing platform. During the conversion weekend, your current credit card may experience temporary transaction limitations.
- Monday, October 19th: Begin using your new Visa credit card for all purchases.
