Why We Celebrate

Since 1948, ICU Day has been held on the third Thursday of October to promote the achievements of credit unions, recognize the hard work of employees and volunteers, and share the stories of members like you.

This year’s global theme “Cooperation for a Prosperous World”, reminds us that credit unions are part of something bigger. From community development to financial well-being, credit unions everywhere work together to create lasting prosperity for people, families, and communities across the world.

Direct Deposit must be posted within 30 days of account opening.
